Abercrombie & Kent Unveils Expanded 2027 Small Group Journeys Collection
The expanded portfolio introduces nine new itineraries, each thoughtfully designed for smaller groups.
Abercrombie & Kent has announced that it will add nine new Small Group Journeys to its 2027 lineup, moving far beyond the usual Europe circuit and into less expected territory.
Its new itineraries focus on destinations such as Albania, North Macedonia, Armenia, and Georgia, alongside more experience-driven trips, including a luxury rail journey in Malaysia and expanded programs in Alaska and Southern Africa.
The shift aligns with what advisors are already seeing: demand for Europe isn’t slowing, but clients are looking beyond the obvious stops, and there’s growing interest in trips that feel immersive without going fully custom. A&K’s Small Group Journeys, which are capped at around 14 guests and led by Resident Tour Directors, sit in that middle space, giving structure with enough access and flexibility to pull in travelers who might otherwise book private itineraries.
Within the curated new itinerary collection, Armenia and Georgia: Cultures of the Caucasus stands out for its immersive exploration of two former Soviet republics. Venturing far beyond the expected, it reveals hidden gems such as an exclusive private tasting of rare Georgian wines, perfectly suited for clients seeking refined, off-the-beaten-path experiences in destinations few have yet to discover.
The collection also visits Albania and North Macedonia, emerging European destinations where layers of history retrace the legacy of the Ottoman Empire through centuries-old mosques, bustling bazaars, and vibrant cultural traditions. Poland, where grand Baroque architecture, beautifully restored old towns, and deeply moving historical sites weave a compelling narrative of resilience and cultural pride, is also among the latest additions to the Abercrombie & Kent portfolio.
As rail travel enjoys a renewed surge in popularity, not only for its environmental benefits but also for the nostalgia it evokes, the collection is further enhanced by a new Malaysia by Luxury Rail itinerary. Guests will have the opportunity to board the luxurious Eastern & Oriental Express, discovering Malaysia’s hidden gems in refined comfort before flying to Bali to unwind amid Ubud’s lush countryside.
Each trip features handpicked accommodations, with an emphasis on intimate boutique camps and lodges accessible only to smaller groups. Guests also enjoy a complimentary mid-journey laundry service and seamless luggage transfers between accommodations. Private arrival and departure transfers are included as well, regardless of travel dates.
The expanded collection also includes Alaska, South Africa, and Southern Africa.
