Ciel Dubai Marina has officially opened as part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, joining the group’s growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio. The 82-story tower now holds the distinction of being the world’s tallest hotel, rising 1,236 feet over Dubai Marina and introducing one of the globe’s highest infinity pools.

Developed by The First Group, the hotel brings 1,000 rooms and suites to a densely competitive district, pairing its height with a wide mix of dining, leisure, and family-friendly facilities. Its arrival also expands Vignette Collection’s footprint in the UAE, where the brand has been steadily adding properties since its 2021 launch.

Dining is a major focus. Tattu, the U.K.-born Asian restaurant brand, anchors a three-level presence starting on the 74th floor. The concept extends to the Tattu Sky Pool on level 76—now the world’s highest infinity pool—and culminates in a rooftop lounge and terrace on level 81. Additional outlets include West 13 for Mediterranean classics, East 14 for live-station Asian dishes, and Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery, a locally established café brand.

Leisure offerings take advantage of the building’s height and location. A spa opens in February 2026 on level 61, and a 24-hour gym overlooks the skyline. Guests also have access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah. For families, the hotel includes a Kids Club, Splash Pad, and child-friendly programming. Nest, an executive-level space on the 16th floor, offers meeting areas and refreshments for business travelers.

Ciel also introduces the Vignette Collection’s signature “Memorable Rituals,” in this case a Morning Hydration Ritual featuring OneShot-blended waters served at the pool and gym each day. Its “A Means for Good” partnership is with the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA), with training workshops and career pathways designed to support emerging culinary talent in Dubai.

The hotel sits directly on the Marina boardwalk, offering easy access to water taxis, Dubai Marina Mall, JBR, Bluewaters, and the city’s tram and metro links. Its location places it within minutes of Palm Jumeirah and Uptown Dubai, key hubs for dining, retail, and entertainment.

For Vignette Collection, Ciel marks a high-visibility addition as the brand moves toward its long-term target of 100 properties. It now counts 27 open hotels worldwide, with 41 more in the pipeline.
