Four Seasons Resort Maui Debuts Kai Holo Spa With Aquathermal Wellness Experiences
The new spa combines hydrotherapy, Hawaiian-inspired treatments, and longevity programming as part of the resort’s broader transformation.

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has unveiled Kai Holo Spa, a new wellness destination that blends Hawaiian-inspired rituals with modern longevity treatments, the latest milestone in the resort’s ongoing renovation.
Named after the Hawaiian phrase for “flowing tide,” the spa is designed around the movement of water and the island’s natural landscapes. At its center is a new aquathermal circuit featuring vitality, hot and cold plunge pools, along with steam rooms, traditional and infrared saunas, sensory showers, and relaxation spaces. The spa also incorporates circadian lighting intended to support relaxation and energy levels throughout the wellness journey.
“At Kai Holo Spa, every experience has been shaped with care, from the way guests are welcomed into the space to the final notes of each treatment,” said Pat Makozak, senior spa director at Four Seasons Resort Maui. “Wellness today is deeply personal, and at Kai Holo that means meeting each guest exactly where they are. Whether spending an afternoon flowing through the aquathermal circuit or immersing themselves in one of our signature rituals, the intention is the same: transformation not as a destination, but as a direction.”
The treatment menu emphasizes a strong sense of place through a new collection of “Pacific Journeys.” Signature experiences include the Kai Holo Signature Oceanside Ritual, which pairs a black sea salt foot soak with a honey and sugar body polish, kukui oil massage and scalp treatment, as well as the Queen’s Garden Fern Ritual, inspired by native Hawaiian botanicals. Other offerings include a spirulina and seaweed body wrap featuring Hawaiʻi-grown ingredients and a restorative women’s wellness treatment using herbal poultices and kukui oil.
Beyond traditional spa services, the property is expanding its wellness focus with a redesigned longevity center operated in partnership with Next|Health. Guests can book biomarker testing, IV therapy and NAD+ treatments, with a hyperbaric chamber scheduled to debut later this summer. The resort has also refreshed its fitness center with new Technogym equipment, body composition analysis and an infrared movement studio offering yoga, Pilates reformer and outdoor TRX classes.
Kai Holo Spa is the centerpiece of a broader property-wide transformation led by design firm Meyer Davis, whose redesign extends across guest rooms, suites and the Club Floor. Wellness retreats curated by Makozak are expected to launch later this year, further expanding the resort’s growing portfolio of immersive health and wellbeing experiences.
