Four Seasons is expanding its footprint in Spain with plans to open a new luxury hotel in Seville in 2028, the brand’s first property in Andalucía’s capital and its third hotel in the country.
Developed in partnership with Spanish real estate investment firm Blasson, the 55-room property will occupy a restored landmark building overlooking Plaza Nueva in the heart of Sevilla’s historic center. The hotel will be located within the city’s Arenal district, placing guests within walking distance of several of Spain’s most significant cultural attractions, including the Sevilla Cathedral, the Royal Alcázar, and the Archivo de Indias, all part of the city’s UNESCO World Heritage ensemble.
International brands are increasingly targeting culturally rich urban destinations beyond Spain’s traditional resort markets, and Seville has emerged as a standout city, attracting nearly 5 million visitors annually and benefiting from strong rail and air connectivity, including a 2.5-hour high-speed train link to Madrid.

The hotel will occupy a five-story mid-century building that is set to undergo a full renovation. Guest accommodations will range from approximately 430 to 1,260 square feet, including a Presidential Suite. Madrid-based architecture firm Lamela will oversee the restoration, while interiors will be designed by Belén Domecq, whose firm has worked on numerous high-profile hospitality and residential projects throughout Spain.
Food and beverage will be a central component of the project. Plans call for a street-level restaurant opening directly onto Plaza Nueva, a rooftop restaurant and bar with city views, and a lobby lounge designed to serve both hotel guests and locals. Additional amenities will include a spa, fitness center, and rooftop swimming pool overlooking Sevilla’s skyline.
The announcement follows the success of Four Seasons’ existing Spanish portfolio, which currently includes properties in Madrid and Mallorca. For advisors with clients seeking culturally driven stays in European cities, the addition of Four Seasons in Seville will introduce a new luxury option in one of Spain’s most atmospheric destinations, combining the brand’s service standards with a location at the heart of the city’s historic core.
