Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris has appointed Nicolas Dubort as managing director, placing the longtime luxury hotel leader at the helm of the 8th arrondissement Palace-designated property. The appointment is a return to Paris for Dubort, whose career spans senior roles across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Located on Avenue Hoche near Parc Monceau and within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, the Philippe Starck-designed hotel remains one of the capital’s top luxury addresses. The property blends a contemporary art focus with a multi-venue culinary program and a strong emphasis on residential-style guest experiences.
Dubort joins from Mandarin Oriental Muscat, where he served as general manager and led the opening phase of the Oman resort. His background also includes leadership roles in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, as well as senior food-and-beverage positions at Mandarin Oriental New York and Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. Earlier stops in his career include Hotel Bel-Air, The Dorchester, The Peninsula Chicago, and Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.
The appointment places a pre-opening specialist and operations-focused executive at a property known for its art programming and high-touch service model. As part of Accor’s Raffles Hotels & Resorts portfolio, the Paris hotel continues to operate as one of the brand’s key European flagships, with public spaces centered on gallery-style design and large-format suites for longer stays.
Dubort officially assumed the role of managing director at the start of 2026 and now oversees day-to-day operations, guest experience, and team leadership.
