Nobu Hospitality is adding Music City to its growing roster of global destinations with the forthcoming Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Nashville, slated for the city’s rapidly developing East Bank district along the Cumberland River.

Set within the mixed-use Oracle campus, the project is a sign of how luxury brands are recalibrating for Nashville’s next phase—a mix of corporate expansion, creative energy, and urban renewal. The 120-room property, designed by Foster + Partners, will blend Nobu’s minimalist Japanese aesthetic with materials and motifs nodding to the city’s industrial riverfront. Renderings show muted palettes, layered textures, and a restrained architectural rhythm that fits seamlessly into the East Bank’s evolving skyline.

On the ground floor, a Nobu restaurant will serve Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes alongside locally inspired additions. The plan also includes a lobby café, spa, and rooftop infinity pool with skyline views, setting the hotel squarely within Nashville’s emerging lifestyle-luxury tier, where openings from 1 Hotel and Four Seasons have already reshaped expectations.

The opening will further deepen Nobu’s U.S. portfolio, which now stretches from Miami Beach to Palo Alto. “We’re excited to bring the Nobu lifestyle to Nashville’s East Bank, a vibrant district ready for growth,” said Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality. “Nashville’s rich culture and culinary scene make it an ideal home for Nobu, and we can’t wait to create a destination that embodies the city’s spirit and our unique experience.”

The project also reinforces a broader trend of culinary-driven hotel concepts leading development in secondary U.S. cities. By coupling hospitality, dining, and branded residences under one globally recognized name, Nobu continues to expand its appeal beyond celebrity cachet, grounding each property in its setting rather than its fame.

Bookings for Nobu Hotel Nashville are expected to open later this year, with completion anticipated in 2026.
