Nocturne Luxury Villas has expanded its luxury vacation rental portfolio into Canada through the acquisition of Jayne’s Luxury Rentals, marking the company’s first Canadian operation and further growing its collection of destination-focused luxury hospitality brands.

The acquisition gives Nocturne its seventh destination and eighth luxury brand. The collection now represents nearly 1,400 luxury villas and private residences across North America and the Caribbean, including Exceptional Stays (Telluride, Colo.), WIMCO St. Barth Properties, Cabo Villas, Exclusive 30A along Florida’s Emerald Coast, Paradise Retreats (Santa Barbara, California), and Grand Cayman Villas & Condos.

Headquartered in Ontario’s Muskoka region, about two hours north of Toronto, Jayne’s Luxury Rentals manages a portfolio of more than 300 high-end properties, including lakefront estates, chalets, and private residences. The company specializes in serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth travelers with concierge services, private chefs, wellness programming, and customized itineraries.

Nocturne said Jayne’s will continue operating under its established brand, preserving its local identity and destination expertise while benefiting from the company’s broader operational resources and technology.

“When we founded Nocturne Luxury Villas, our ambition wasn’t simply to build a larger vacation rental company,” said Scott Wiseman, chief executive officer of Nocturne Luxury Villas. “We set out to build the most trusted collection of destination-based luxury hospitality brands.”

Wiseman said the company’s approach is to preserve the local identity, relationships, and expertise that have made each brand successful while providing the scale and innovation of a larger hospitality organization.

For travel advisors, the acquisition expands access to a broader portfolio of luxury vacation rentals while maintaining the destination expertise and personalized service offered by local specialists. Homeowners, meanwhile, will gain access to enhanced marketing, technology, and operational resources while retaining the local relationships that have defined Jayne’s brand.

“Jayne’s has always been built on trust, service and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable Muskoka experiences,” said founder Jayne McCaw. “When I began exploring a partnership, I wasn’t looking for the largest company, I was looking for the right one.”

McCaw will continue leading Jayne’s Luxury Rentals following the acquisition, collaborating with the Nocturne team to support future growth while preserving the company’s longstanding reputation in Canada’s luxury vacation rental market.
