Marriott is investing millions in renovating the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort & Spa, the hotel group announced on Tuesday.

The luxury Florida resort hotel will remodel its meeting space, restaurant, lobby, marketplace, bar, and lounge, as Singer Island sees an increase in popularity as a Palm Beach tourist destination.

“This is a very exciting time for the resort. These renovations offer our guests a renewed and enhanced experience, while also remaining competitive in the market,” said Roger Amidon, general manager of Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa. “Our resort is looking forward to unveiling these chic, modern coastal renovations to our guests.”

Renovations to the hotel will begin on Aug. 7 and are expected to be completed in December 2023.

The project will transform the hotel into an open space concept throughout and add new furniture and more natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, which will also create an indoor-outdoor experience by placing focus on the beachside view.

The hotel makeover will also include new, soft and neutral design elements that complement the view from outside. Marriott is going for a natural, calming ambiance with hints of coastal green and blue throughout, as well as contemporary artwork and lighting fixtures with beachy textures.

Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island is a 21-story property with 239 beachside, condo-style suites. Its spa, called SiSpa, offers sea-inspired pampering, and its boutique-style meeting space accommodates business conferences, weddings, and other social events.
