Raffles has opened Raffles Jeddah, bringing the brand to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Located along Jeddah’s Corniche, the new-build hotel is Raffles’ second property in the Kingdom following Raffles Makkah Palace, and arrives as Jeddah continues to position itself as both a leisure and business gateway.

The 182-room property includes 40 suites and leans heavily into place-driven design. Architecture and interiors draw from Jeddah’s maritime history and Hejazi craftsmanship, incorporating mashrabiya screens, carved wood latticework, and references to the historic Al-Balad district throughout the public spaces. London-based designer, Robert Angell, oversaw the guestrooms and suites, while Tristan Du Plessis designed the spa and wellness areas.

Accommodations start at roughly 700 square feet, making them among the larger luxury hotel rooms in the city. All guestrooms feature uninterrupted Red Sea views, with interiors finished in muted pastel tones inspired by the surrounding sea and sky. Public areas continue the coastal theme, from the light-filled lobby to a curated collection of Saudi and Middle Eastern contemporary art designed to ground the property more firmly in its destination.

Dining is positioned as a key part of the guest experience. Surl’O, the all-day brasserie overlooking the Red Sea, blends Eastern and Western culinary influences with a menu designed around shared plates. Meanwhile, Atorie Lounge & Patisserie combines French pastry techniques with Japanese influences, serving everything from black sesame pastries to matcha éclairs, as well as afternoon tea presentations. A third Mediterranean-inspired signature restaurant is expected to debut later.

The property also includes separate male and female wellness areas with Moroccan hammams, pools, and fitness facilities, as well as extensive event infrastructure, including six meeting rooms and the Pearl and Crystal Ballrooms, both suspended above the plaza with floor-to-ceiling city views.

The hotel sits on the Corniche within easy reach of attractions including Fakih Aquarium, Red Sea Mall, and Boulevard Jeddah, while King Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 25 minutes away.
