The Peninsula Paris will welcome Luc Delafosse as managing director beginning March 2, 2026, marking a leadership transition at the 200-room palace hotel on Avenue Kléber. He succeeds Vincent Pimont, who has been appointed managing director of The Peninsula Hong Kong.

Delafosse arrives with a long track record across luxury hospitality markets, including senior roles in London, Beverly Hills, Paris, Monaco, Dubai, and Riyadh. Most recently, he served as vice president of hospitality and F&B management at Al Khozama Group in Riyadh, where he oversaw a portfolio of hotels and restaurants and worked across operations, project development, and asset management. Earlier in his career, he held positions at properties such as the Ritz London, Hôtel de Crillon Paris, and Burj Al Arab Dubai, and he supported the pre-opening phase of Maybourne Riviera in the south of France.

At The Peninsula Paris, Delafosse will oversee daily operations and commercial performance while guiding the property through its next phase following the Olympic Games period, during which the hotel reported strong business results. The Paris property, a joint venture between Katara Hospitality and The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, opened in 2014 after a major renovation of a historic building, and this year marks its 12th anniversary.

“We are pleased to welcome Luc Delafosse to The Peninsula Hotels. He has extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry that makes him well-suited to steer The Peninsula Paris into its next chapter. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Vincent Pimont for his outstanding contributions in Paris, congratulate him on his appointment to our flagship property, and look forward to welcoming him to Hong Kong,” said Gareth Roberts, the brand’s chief operating officer.

Located steps from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, The Peninsula Paris houses 200 guestrooms, including 93 suites, and several dining venues, including L’Oiseau Blanc, which holds two Michelin stars. The property also includes LiLi, a Cantonese restaurant; Le Lobby for all-day dining; a rooftop experience; and a 20,000-square-foot spa with a 65-foot indoor pool.

“I am truly honored and excited to join The Peninsula Paris as Managing Director. The Peninsula brand represents the pinnacle of luxury hospitality, blending timeless elegance with exceptional service,” said Delafosse. “I look forward to working with the talented team in Paris to further elevate the guest experience and continue strengthening the hotel’s position as one of the capital’s leading luxury hotel destinations.”

The leadership change takes effect on March 2.
