Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal to Unveil Final Phase of Property-Wide Transformation This Fall
The resort will complete guest room renovations and debut new culinary and wellness experiences ahead of an October reopening.

The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, one of Mexico’s most exclusive beachfront resorts, will complete the final phase of its multi-year property-wide transformation this fall. The resort will temporarily close from July 15 to Sept. 30, 2025, to renovate all 112 guest rooms, suites, casitas, and villas before a grand reopening on Oct. 1.
The final phase of enhancements, which will be led by original designer Paul Duesing, will update the accommodations with a lighter, neutral palette, artisanal Mexican accents, and an expanded in-room bar showcasing the resort’s bespoke beverage program. Each space will highlight handcrafted pieces, including custom furniture from local artisans and signature metallic sea turtle shells created by Preciado Iluminación.
“The reimagination of Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal was done thoughtfully to ensure a singularly authentic luxury experience that gives a nod to both the resort’s impressive legacy as well as the heritage and traditions of Mexican culture,” said Maria Valeria Nowotny, vice president of operations for Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle hotels in the region.
The transformation caps off years of enhancements to the resort’s culinary and wellness programs. Notable additions include the Agave Study at Peacock Alley, Neutral Coffee Lab, a refreshed Don Manuel’s, and the elevated taco tasting concept Travesía. A new rotation of culinary activations will also debut at the resort’s Beach Club, building on its successful Festival of Flavors series, which has featured talents like Jaime Pesaque, Michael Mina, and Claudette Zepeda collaborating with Executive Chef Gustavo Pinet.
In 2026, the resort will once again host Alo Moves’ in-person wellness retreat, offering guests three days of immersive mindfulness programming. The Waldorf Astoria Spa will also debut an enhanced salon and continue offering rituals based on the phases of the moon.
Reservations are now open for the October reopening.
