Delta Air Lines has completed the rollout of dedicated Delta One check-in facilities across every U.S. hub offering Delta One service, expanding the airline’s premium ground experience ahead of the holiday travel period.

The dedicated check-in spaces are now operating at Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Los Angeles (LAX), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), New York-JFK (JFK), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Seattle (SEA). Each location provides a separate arrival point for eligible Delta One customers, offering bag drop, check-in assistance, and a quieter environment removed from the main terminal flow.

The expansion standardizes a concept Delta has been piloting in select airports, creating a consistent pre-security experience aligned with its long-haul business-class product. “Delta One check-in sets the tone for each one of our Delta One customers to begin experiencing their elevated journey from the moment they arrive at the airport,” said Greg Forbes, Delta’s managing director of airport experience. “It builds on the efficiency and consistency with a welcoming, calm environment that reflects Delta’s signature care and hospitality.”

While layouts vary by airport, each Delta One check-in area includes personalized assistance from premium service ambassadors, expedited check-in and bag drop, seating areas, and light refreshments. The spaces are designed to handle arrivals directly from curbside, reducing time spent in general departure halls.

Two hubs currently integrate additional private infrastructure. At both JFK Terminal 4 and LAX Terminal 3, Delta One check-in includes a dedicated security screening that connects directly to the Delta One Lounge. Boston and Seattle also have Delta One Lounges already open airside, while Delta has confirmed that lounges at the remaining hubs are planned for future phases.

The physical placement of each check-in is determined by local terminal constraints. In Atlanta, the facility is located inside Door 2 of the International Terminal. At JFK, it sits just steps from the curb at Terminal 4, Door B. LAX’s Delta One Check-In is positioned on the lower arrivals level of Terminal 3, while Detroit’s is housed within the McNamara Terminal near TSA and CLEAR access. Minneapolis-St. Paul’s location is separate from the terminal building and accessed via a designated Flex Lane, while Salt Lake City and Seattle place the experience adjacent to primary screening zones.

Access is limited to same-day departing Delta One ticketed customers, passengers flying business class on select Delta partner airlines, and Delta 360 members.

The next confirmed step is the continued build-out of Delta One Lounges at remaining hub airports, with timing to be announced as individual projects move forward.
