Flexjet has acquired London-based aircraft brokerage and advisory firm The Jet Business, expanding the private aviation company’s capabilities in aircraft sales, procurement, and advisory services while accelerating its international growth plans.
The acquisition brings together Flexjet’s existing brokerage arm, FXSolutions, and The Jet Business under a larger global platform focused on whole-aircraft transactions. The Jet Business will continue to operate under its existing brand but will gain access to Flexjet’s infrastructure and resources.
The deal comes as Flexjet continues to invest heavily in Europe: the company recently established a sales center in London’s Mayfair and operates a control center at Farnborough Airport, where it plans to open a new private terminal later this summer. The facility will be Flexjet’s first dedicated private terminal in Europe and its largest infrastructure project outside the United States.

For Flexjet, the acquisition also strengthens its ability to manage aircraft throughout their lifecycle, from sourcing new aircraft for its fleet to remarketing jets as they exit service. “A core tenet of our luxury strategy is maintaining one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry,” said Kenn Ricci, chairman of Flexjet. “To do that effectively requires sophisticated capabilities around aircraft remarketing and transition planning.”
As part of the transaction, the Jet Business founder Steve Varsano will assume a new strategic leadership role as president of Flexjet, focused on international expansion and product innovation. Varsano founded The Jet Business in 2011 and is widely known for creating what the company describes as the world’s first street-level corporate aviation showroom in London.
The acquisition will also lead to the launch of Flexjet Solutions, a new offering designed for aircraft owners and buyers. Through the platform, clients will have access to services including aircraft management, pre-purchase inspections, maintenance support, and operational resources.
“The opportunity to take everything I have built and place it inside the world’s leading luxury aviation platform is one you simply do not pass up,” Varsano said. “I am delighted to now be playing a new role within Flexjet, helping to drive new and compelling global opportunities.”
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
