Explora Journeys will roll out a new onboard wellness offering, “In Balance: A Jannik Sinner Ocean Wellness Programme,” beginning April 24 aboard Explora I and May 18 aboard Explora II, with bookings now open. The program also anchors a five-night pre-inaugural sailing aboard Explora III, scheduled to depart Genoa on July 24, 2026.
Developed with Jannik Sinner and his performance team, the program translates elements of elite athletic training into a structured, onboard wellness experience. It is organized around four core components—training, breathwork, recovery treatments, and thermal therapy—designed to be delivered across varying fitness levels. Sessions include one-to-one coaching, guided breathing practices, targeted muscle recovery, and hot-and-cold circuit experiences within the Ocean Wellness spa facilities.
“Jannik embodies the composure and meticulous focus that define our vision for ocean travel,” said Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys. “This partnership goes beyond wellness; it is about creating the space and providing the expertise for our guests to find clarity, balance, and peace of mind at sea. “Welcoming Jannik aboard Explora III for her first Journey adds a special sense of occasion, as we introduce both our newest ship and this new wellness program to further enrich the ‘Ocean State of Mind.’”
The program will also be activated onboard Explora III during a limited segment of its Mediterranean Prelude Journey, ahead of the ship’s official debut. The five-night sailing, made possible by the vessel’s early delivery, will run from Genoa to Civitavecchia (Rome), with calls in Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Villefranche-sur-Mer, and Livorno.

Sinner and his team will join for the first leg, from Genoa to Marseille, participating in a series of onboard experiences. These include small-group Q&A sessions, private coaching sessions led by members of his coaching staff, and a limited number of guided wellness sessions tied to the In Balance program. A charity gala dinner is also scheduled during the sailing, with proceeds supporting the Jannik Sinner Foundation and the MSC Foundation.
The Prelude Journey functions as an early access sailing prior to Explora III’s formal entry into service. Following the voyage, the ship will arrive in Barcelona on Aug. 1 for its naming ceremony, then depart on its maiden voyage from Barcelona to Lisbon on Aug. 3.
