Hilton and Explora Journeys Launch Loyalty Partnership Across Global Sailings
Hilton’s new partnership with Explora Journeys will let members earn and redeem points on luxury sailings beginning summer 2026.

Hilton and Explora Journeys have formally outlined a new partnership that will bring the hotel group’s loyalty program into luxury ocean travel for the first time. Beginning summer 2026, Hilton Honors members will be able to earn and redeem points on Explora Journeys sailings, marking a notable expansion of the program across a category Hilton has not previously offered.
The collaboration launches alongside Hilton Honors Adventures, a new arm of the loyalty platform focused on experiential travel. Explora Journeys will serve as its exclusive luxury ocean partner. The brand, part of MSC Group, currently operates two ships, with four more scheduled to join the fleet by 2028; the following vessels, Explora III and Explora IV, are expected to arrive in 2026 and 2027.
Ahead of the full integration of earning and redemption, Hilton Honors is running a preview offer through June 7, 2026. Members can book any Explora Journeys sailing, including a highlighted group of 16 itineraries, with added benefits such as 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points per suite and up to $400 in Journey Experience Credits, depending on itinerary. Credits can be used toward dining, wine tastings, Destination Experiences, spa treatments, curated shopping, or suite upgrades, with specific exclusions noted by the company. An in-suite welcome amenity is also included.

Explora’s itineraries span the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, the Red Sea, Alaska, Asia, and the Panama Canal, with Japan-focused sailings joining in 2027. The brand’s ships feature 461 oceanfront suites, penthouses, and residences, all with private terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows, alongside six restaurants, 12 bars and lounges, five heated pools, and multiple outdoor and wellness spaces.
Hilton Honors Adventures launches with more than 235 million members eligible to participate, extending benefits across Hilton’s wider portfolio of 9,000 properties and more than 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels.
The first opportunity for members to earn and redeem points at sea begins in summer 2026, aligning with the growth of Explora Journeys’ fleet and the rollout of upcoming itineraries.
