Four Seasons Hotel New York officially reopened on Friday after more than four years without guests.

The 52-story Art Deco tower in Midtown Manhattan was closed since the pandemic. As a leader in landmark luxury hotels in the city, its comeback has been highly anticipated, according to General Manager Michal Dedera.

“Since we announced our reopening date less than a month ago, we’ve received overwhelming interest from new guests looking to experience the hotel for the first time and loyal guests who can’t wait to stay and dine with us again,” he said. “With so many familiar faces ready to welcome our guests back, it’s a wonderful start to the holiday season as we all come together once again.”

Over the extended closure, Four Seasons Hotel New York has revamped several accommodation features, including newly refined in-room beverage bars with Lavazza coffee, new 24-hour in-room dining menus, and new luxe amenities by Spanish skin care brand Natura Bissé.

The hotel will also soon enhance its room options for more extended stays, adding kitchenettes and connecting rooms. In the next year, it also plans to enhance its spa and introduce dinner service to The Garden restaurant.

Four Seasons Hotel New York is located at 57 East 57th St., between Madison and Park Avenues, just steps from Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and Rockefeller Plaza.
