Four Seasons is expanding its Caribbean footprint this fall with the debut of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, scheduled to open on Nov. 20, 2025. The opening puts Four Seasons on Puerto Rico’s luxury map, pairing its signature service with a rare oceanfront setting protected by ecological safeguards.
Set within the exclusive Bahía Beach community, the property occupies 483 acres of private reserve, bordered by additional protected sanctuaries. It is the only Caribbean resort to hold Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary status, signaling a focus on conservation in a region where eco-designations remain rare at the ultra-luxury level. The location—just 30 minutes from San Juan—also offers easy access for U.S. and international travelers.
The resort features 139 refurbished guest accommodations and a diverse culinary program spanning 10 dining venues. Options range from a pop-up sushi bar to toes-in-the-sand dining at Sand Dollar and a lobby lounge centered on local spirits and Puerto Rican flavors. Leisure facilities include two swimming pools, a spa and wellness center with dual fitness spaces, and an expanded racket center for tennis and pickleball, complementing the Robert Trent Jones Jr. oceanfront golf course.

Programming extends beyond the resort walls with canoe expeditions through Reserva Natural Río Espíritu Santo, guided treks into El Yunque rainforest, and bioluminescent bay kayaking. The resort also offers family-friendly amenities, including an on-site animal sanctuary and water sports at the Boathouse, complete with an inflatable aqua park.
Beyond leisure, the property introduces more than 25,000 square feet of event space, positioning it as a contender for destination weddings and corporate retreats in the region. Residences and villas are also being released for sale, extending the brand’s Caribbean real estate portfolio.
“In partnership with Paulson Puerto Rico, we are proud to introduce our signature service and timeless approach to luxury to this remarkable island, creating experiences for guests and residents that reflect the beauty and vibrancy of Puerto Rico,” said Antoine Chahwan, the president of hotel operations for the Americas.
With its ecological credentials, robust mix of experiences, and the Four Seasons flag, the resort is positioned as one of the Caribbean’s most notable high-end launches of 2025.
