Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Vincent Poulingue as general manager of Mandarin Oriental Paris, effective May 18.
Poulingue joins from Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz, where he has served as general manager since 2023. His background is largely operational, with senior roles across InterContinental Hotels Group in Porto and Geneva, as well as earlier positions within Barrière Group and independent restaurant ventures.
Mandarin Oriental Paris has 135 rooms and suites, including some of the largest accommodations in the city, with inventory ranging from 409-square-foot entry rooms to a 4,600-square-foot Parisian apartment.
The hotel sits on Rue Saint-Honoré, just off Place Vendôme, set in the city’s core luxury retail and cultural corridor. It operates with a relatively contained footprint compared to palace-scale competitors, but leans into suite mix, residential-style layouts, and a strong spa component—at nearly 10,000 square feet, one of the larger hotel spas in the city.
Poulingue will report to Philippe Kronberg, the AVP of operations at Mandarin Oriental.
