Paris has no shortage of VIP experiences, but the Eiffel Tower is now offering one that goes beyond fast-track tickets and reserved dining tables.

The monument’s operator, Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (SETE), has launched the “Grand Tour,” a private, staff-led experience that gives travelers exclusive access to areas of the Eiffel Tower typically closed to the public. Designed for groups of up to six people, the experience combines priority access, historical storytelling, and behind-the-scenes access to one of the world’s most visited landmarks.

Unlike standard guided visits, the Grand Tour will be led by a dedicated member of the Eiffel Tower’s staff rather than an outside guide. Guests receive priority access all the way to the summit, along with a personalized tour covering the tower’s history, operations, and lesser-known stories.

One of the biggest differentiators is access to the tower’s historic elevator machinery, an area that’s normally off-limits to visitors. The experience also includes a glass of Champagne served either at the summit or on the first-floor terrace, as well as exclusive gifts from the Eiffel Tower collection.

Additional enhancements are available on request, including a tasting at the Pierre Hermé macaron bar, assistance making reservations at the Eiffel Tower’s restaurants (including Madame Brasserie and the Michelin-starred Le Jules Verne), and enhanced security arrangements for high-profile travelers.

The new experience offers a compelling option for milestone celebrations, multigenerational families, and clients who have visited Paris before but are looking for a deeper, more exclusive perspective on one of the city’s most iconic attractions. The small-group format and customizable elements also make it an easy add-on for FIT itineraries focused on access and insider experiences. The Grand Tour is available by request for groups of up to six guests.
