Rental Escapes has launched a new Accessible Villas collection, expanding its global portfolio with private homes designed to accommodate travelers with limited mobility while maintaining the scale, privacy, and service expectations of the luxury villa category. The collection was announced today, February 10, and is now live across multiple destinations.
The Accessible Villas portfolio spans beach, resort, and mountain locations, with properties currently available in Jamaica, Los Cabos, Turks & Caicos, St. Martin, the French Riviera, and Colorado. Rather than a single standardized design, the collection is built around individual villas that meet specific accessibility criteria, including step-free entrances, wide doorways, ground-floor bedrooms, roll-in showers, ramps or elevators where appropriate, and open layouts that allow for easier movement throughout the home. On-site staff support can also be arranged depending on the property.
The company describes the collection as a response to recurring requests for private accommodations that offer meaningful accessibility without forcing guests into hotel-style environments or heavily modified spaces. Brian Schwimmer, chief executive officer and co-founder of Rental Escapes, said the goal was to remove friction from the planning process while preserving the core villa experience. “Every guest deserves a seamless, stress-free vacation and this collection was developed to deliver that,” Schwimmer said. “By expanding access to purposefully designed spaces in top destinations, we’re helping more guests travel comfortably and confidently.”

Several flagship properties illustrate the range and scale of the new offering. Ana Flamands, a five-bedroom villa set directly on Flamands Beach in St. Barts, features step-free access, ground-floor living, and open-plan interiors, with dedicated staff including housekeepers and pool maintenance. In Saint-Tropez, Villa des Parcs sits within the gated Les Parcs de Saint-Tropez enclave and features seven bedrooms, accessible pathways throughout the estate, and a heated pool with easy entry options. For alpine destinations, Cazador Lodge in Steamboat Springs offers a five-bedroom mountain home with spacious circulation, elevator-style transitions between levels, and seasonal shuttle access to the ski resort.
The launch does not represent a separate brand or booking channel, but rather a curated subset of Rental Escapes’ broader inventory of more than 5,000 villas worldwide. Each property in the Accessible Villas collection has been individually vetted for specific physical features, rather than relying on generalized claims of accessibility.
